Emilia Clarke revealed her battle with Brain Aneurysms with an essay on The New Yorker.
I'll copy/paste the direct link because it is so well written and moving.
She was so young when she started having severe health issues and to think she is always bubbly and happy when she appears on the movie screen or on tv interviews, it is even harder to imagine how scary she could have felt back then.
She was so brave, I have always liked her, I like her even more now. It shows how aware she is of her luck, despite struggling to recover and having a hard time getting better after surgeries. But she surely has been luck. My older brother died at 6 of a Brain Aneurysm, I wasn't even born back then but it is a scar thet never healed in my family of course.
We - me included - always tend to think celebs have such an easy life without problems and worries but it is just a facade. She took the time to process it and decided to share it with this essay and I think her experience will help many people struggling with health problems.
