So gorgeous - -- Anne Hathaways' dress was horrible, but he was such a gentleman to get up and help (I forget the actress) who tripped on her way up to get her Oscar.

He looks so handsome!! Always a gentleman! I agree, Anne's dress was one of the few I didn't like...

You knew she was going to win but I was so hoping she wouldn't - I can't stand her anymore.

We all knew and she did too, so she could have chosen something better imho...
But, back to Hugh, always a pleasure to see him!

So charming isn't he? I was hoping he won but I really loved Daniel Day Lewis in Lincoln so was really happy he won.

I hoped he could win too, but Oscar or not is talent is out of discussion!

I didn't see Argo, nor do I even know what its about (never interested me), but wonder if it won for political reasons - not world politics but Hollywood politics because of Clooney

It stil hasn't opened here, not even Jenifer Lawrence's one, so I can't tell..:P But I'm glad Ben had his 'revenge' after being snobbed!:P

Unfortunately for Hugh this was Daniel Day Lewis year for Lincoln (great performance, though even Joaquin's one was very impressive), but the goos thing about it was that with this movie finally the world has seen how an amazing performer Hugh Jackman is (especiallyin countries like Italy, where is known for Wolverine only, and people get surprised for his vocal abilities!).
He's always such a gentleman, and one more time he proved it by being the only one rushing to Jennifer's side when she tripped...

She has for sure a lucky wife... who was I think the only one wearing trousers and simple updo, among the plus ones of actors...

Yes, I was noticing as well, she didn't try to outshine him and wore a simple yet classy ensamble, just to show you how grounded and humble she is. Such a lovely couple!

This is a proof of how much she loves him; she is never dolled up and never tries to get all the attention on her, but let him shine and get the glory...

She's a smart woman, if she wasn't I doubt Hugh would still be happily married after all these years! These two know how to make a marriage work in Hollywood!
