We watched Safe House again last night with him and Denzel Washington - he was so good in that film. He can do drama, comedy, romance - all around good actor.

I couldn't agree more! And if you had any doubt about his versatility, I suggest you to watch Buried. He was amazing in it! Just him on screen for 90 minutes and he totally owns that movie!
He's not only good looking but really talented as well imho.

Great! let me know if you like it. I wouldn't watch it again, because it was really intense but he did a hell of a job! He's amazing!!

OK it will be a few days before our local library alerts me its available for pick up but he did a good job in Safe House and to play opposite Denzel Washington speaks for itself. Orlando Bloom should be so lucky to play against Denzel or Russell Crowe.

He'd surely just have to learn from them but his acting is weak. He had great potential when he started but got lost along the way, too pleased from celebrity imho. Ryan, Denzel and many other actors are on another planet compared to Orlando.
