Lol! I was just saying in another entry that, while I certainly think she is talented, I found Emma a bit over the top, both last night and at the GG...

I guess she was, though seeing other interviews of her in the past, she usually is quite funny in this way... Surprisingly both Helen Mirren and Judy Dench are too... I never thought about it, if I didn't see them doing it

I am sure Meryl Streep is very funny too but I think there is a place and time for everything, and too much is never a good idea imo.

You're perfectly right... it's right being funny but if you're trying to hard is risky, and you don't always get to look as funny as you think you are...

I love Emma Thompson and how over the top she seemed, she made very boring interviews seem fun, jennifer lawerence gives me the same vibe, I hope she has Emma staying power.
