So many beautiful outfits here - if only I had the money for some, but really like some of the things by Valli.

I liked Valli better than Dior actually...:P I can't wait for Elie Saab show on wednesday!

I never heard of Valli but was sitting there thinking, I want this one and I want that one. Too bad there were no wedding gowns. I have to start thinking about that soon.

As the name suggests, he's italian and he's very well known and appreciated among Hollywood actresses, I love his creations, always so feminine and chic!

In the fifth row, last dress - I think that is so pretty - so sweet but feminine. I like the models he uses too - very natural and down to earth looking.

I'll have to pay attention to what they say they are wearing. I get tired of hearing Oscar de la Renza and think there are others out there who have really lovely things....and lets hope they don't try to be on the red carpet for the Oscars :)

There are some really cute gowns and dresses in both collections but personally I prefer Valli this time around...:P

Both collections feature floral fabric with raised flowers like in the dress that Sienna Miller to the GG's (her's was Erdem, I think.) I like some of them, especially the Dior gowns. GV's got some ugly patterns, though. I do not understand why he puts such beautiful gowns on the runway and tops it off with ugly, awful hair on the models. The uncombed center part certainly isn't flattering, even on these gorgeous models. I do like the black dresses and gowns he included, though.

The Georges Hobeika Couture show also had a lot of those flowers too, must be the trend for Soring/Summer Couture. I love the plays of texture & volume in the Valli collection and the classic elegance of Dior. I wonder which of these gowns we'll be seeing on Oscar nominees?

You're absolutely welcome!! My fav time of the year! I really enjoy these pics and I'm always curious to see what the designers suggest as new trends and HC is particularly interesting imho, especially ahead of Oscar red carpet!
