I read a Marylin Monroe biography in the 80s and even though it was toned down because people weren't ready for the entire reality of her life back then, it was still heartbreaking. I feel so bad for this woman who would have flourished had she just been left alone. I always wonder about the long and happy life she might have had if she had never been "discovered."
I agree, I think she'd have had a long and happy life, had she never been famous. She really had a troubled existence and the way she was used by men, especially the Kennedys...I mean, I think the Kennedy brothers were great politicians but they used women and Marylin like a piece of meat. I wasn't too sure about Ana being cast her Monroe but this trailer looks good, so I'm looking forward this movie to come out.
