One of these years Viggo will get an Oscar...but not this year. :\

Well, I started to get worried for Viggo during press for the movie when he used the N-word. He was trying to make a point against racism but...he dropped it and it was not good. :\

I'm surprised by Emily's snub, too. She was amazing in the role and she has such a beautiful voice and the movie was just so pure and perfect. Maybe that was the problem. :\

Rami really deserves the win and I hope he gets it!

I agree. What Bryan Singer has been doing has been a poorly kept secret for a very long time and I can't imagine that ANYONE doesn't know about it. It would be easier to swallow if he would just say, "Look, I really needed the job and I was at a point in my career that there was no way I could pass this movie up so I took it because I needed it." It's the absolute truth. He was at a point in his career where he didn't have any power. He has the power to refuse to work with people now.

This was a little better:

I remember talking about Singer's predatory behavior way back when he directed that Superman movie Kate Bosworth was in. Everyone knew then what he was like.
